Extreme Weather Hold UpdateUpdated 2 days ago

Preserving the integrity of your wine during shipping is a responsibility we take very seriously at SommSelect and unfortunately, sometimes it's just too hot to ship!

Twice a week, our team will evaluate the 7-10 day forecast from the National Weather Service to determine if wine can ship safely to your state. When temperatures are above 88 degrees, our packaging is not guaranteed to keep your wine stable in transit. If it's not safe to ship, we will hold until the following week, when we will re-evaluate. If your state is under an Extreme Temperature Hold, you'll be notified via email.

You will receive tracking information for your wine when it is safe to ship and no longer on hold.

Here are the current states on Extreme Temperature Hold:

Arizona
California (Central Valley and Deserts)
Colorado
Conneticut
Florida
Georgia
Idaho
Indiana
Kansas
Kentucky
Louisiana
Maryland
Massachusetts
Missouri
Montana

New Mexico
New York
North Carolina

East Coast states should release by Tuesday next week as the weather will cool down

If you would like your package released please let us know, however we won't be able to guarantee your wine if it is released while on an extreme weather hold.

We appreciate your patience in this matter and we plan to ship your wine as soon as it is safe to do so!
